We find that posts with related articles at the bottom tend to get shared more and tend to keep people on our site longer, especially if some of the related articles are our own. If someone is reading your content because they're interested in the topic (which is usually the case), then providing them with 4 or 5 links to related posts is likely to result in them opening up a couple new tabs to read those posts, too.
