Problem
Making content publishable and more visible is a tedious process. When an author creates an article or a post, there is still a whole editorial process to be completed before the content can be published: finding the right images, links, tags, past articles, and related posts is tedious and time-consuming. All these activities take time that could otherwise be used for research and creating more content, and even more importantly, they can be automated.
Existing tools are useful in helping authors publish their content online, but do very little to enrich the content and make it more readable, discoverable, and interconnected.
Solution
Zemanta Enterprise is a solution for professional publishers and bloggers that provides online recommendation of relevant content to authors at the time of content creation. Authors don’t have to search for related stories, definitions and images manually, as Zemanta takes care of it while they write. Zemanta interprets the content while it is being created and searches for related articles, links, tags, and images. The content discovered through Zemanta is recommended, never forced. Ultimately it’s still the authors’ job to pick what is right for them, however, Zemanta makes the process much more efficient.
Recommendations are delivered to the authors from a customized content pool. Publishers can upload their own archives and limit the recommendation pool to link only to their archives or networks.
