Zemanta with full Typepad support

Posted by jure, under zemanta on April 17th, 2009

Blogging platforms are very personal choices with each blogger fully defending their home one. We recognize this at Zemanta as we try to give passionate attention to each every one.

This week we’re happy to show you our work on Typepad, world’s premier blogging service.

With Zemanta, you can quickly:

  • attach interesting blogger friendly images to your blog post and include your own from Flickr
  • add related articles from the web and your own blog
  • quickly link to over 20 different trusted sources (Wikipedia, Amazon, CrunchBase, RottenTomatoes, IMDB, etc.)
  • include interactive embeds like YouTube, Last.fm radio and Google Maps
  • SEO optimized tag recommendations

To get it working, just download our Firefox or Internet Explorer toolbar (and we have Chrome and Safari versions as well). Then as you start composing the post, we’ll recommend you additional content that you can integrate with a single click.

To get a better feeling for how it works, check out the screencast:

  • I have tried TypePad blog service, but wasn't very happy with it. Later I went to Wordpress on my hosting account and my own domain. More control!

I wtched the screen cast but unfortunately no sound so a bit difficult to follow. The concept appears interesting though.
