Zemanta supports Chrome

Posted by jure, under zemanta on September 2nd, 2008

Today Google announced their web browser – Google Chrome. After some quick tests we can say that Zemanta works great in it, when used as a server side plugin and that it’s blazingly fast.

Story behind this happy announcement is that we constantly try to make sure Zemanta works in as many browsers and platforms as possible. While we can’t support browsers lke Safari or Opera through extensions (due to their technical limitations) we made sure that our stand-alone plugins work in them.

If you are on Windows, you can try Chrome today and also make sure to check-out our standalone plugins for Drupal, MovableType and Wordpress.

  • I'm hoping it'll work on blogger too. I missed it when I posted a blog post a couple of minutes ago.

I agree. We'd love to add support for Blogger, but it will have to wait until Chrome gets extensions.
  • I have my doubts that Chrome will ever supports extensions, but we will see.
  • Thanks jure.
