Zemanta now with SlideShare, 5min, Wikinvest, bigger images and 17.9% less fat

Providing rich examples in blog posts is key to educating and entertaining our readers. That’s why all modern platforms allow embeding of rich objects like YouTube videos so we’re not limited to just static text with images. To give you more powers as a bloggers we’re expanding our existing offering of YouTube, Google Maps and Last.fm widgets with three new ones: SlideShare, 5min and Wikinvest. Other notable changes
- bigger images: we increased the default image size to 300px width
- 17.9% less fat: our interface code runs even faster now. We optimized many routines to make sure that we don’t slow you down while you are creating your latest masterpiece.
- Windows Live Writer stability improvements in interface. As we updated just scripts, there is no need to reinstall plugin.
- Firefox Extension got smarter – we’ll be able to show you what’s new when we release upgrades as well as ask you tell us why you uninstalled Zemanta so we can improve the service.
All updates are already available to all users on supported platforms. New rich objects in action SlideShare is the world’s largest community for sharing presentations.
