Featured Blog: Net News Daily

The guys over at Net News Daily run a cool news website. If you haven’t heard of them, then you might be surprised to find out that the site is run by two thirteen year olds in the UK. Here’s their story…
Executive Editor Scott Campbell and Editor-in-Chief Nathan Adam began their journey into blog stardom wanting nothing more than to gain experience and further their future careers.
Campbell, a freelance writer and seasoned blogger, held the same aspiration as Adam—to understand the field of media. He and Adam have far outreached their original goal in the development and maintenance of their self-managed international news site, Net News Daily.
Campbell puts it best, “We take the news and mash it up, into a more interesting and readable format.” With nine contributing writers ranging from ages 10-38, site content is diverse yet professional. In addition to the typical news, sports and technology offerings, the site contains everything from science/environment features to crime coverage.
They love the reBlog and tagging features of Zemanta and the ease with which they can include images and videos. Nathan says the tagging recommendations are a big time saver. Can’t wait to see what these guys produce next.
