New Wordpress release after these long months of just bug-fix releases is something most us are really excited about as it brings much improved dashboard interface together with other improvements.

So we worked over the weekend to bring you Wordpress 2.5 support. It’s still experimental so no tag support yet and there are some layout glitches but we’ll have this fixed for you in next few days.

How to enable it: Restart your Firefox and point it your freshly upgraded/installed Wordpress 2.5.

If you do not see Zemanta sidebar, Open Firefox Preferences, Advanced tab, Network tab, Cache -> Clear now. Restart Firefox.

If it still does not work, report it in comments on this blog post, or use our getsatisfaction.com/zemanta support forum and we’ll try to figure it out.

Ever been wondering what’s the burn rate of the startup?

Well, in Zemanta we burn the following (weekly numbers):

- 4kg of chocholate
- 2kg of jelly bonbons
- cca. 80 teabags
- unmesurable amount of coffe (actually usage is falling last few days since we have enough of adrenalin anyway)
- 8 boxes of Jaffa cakes
- Cedevita
- over-mura moving cake (when Matjaz has birthday)

Yesterday I made a big mistake of trying to eat healthy food - dry peaches and apples instead of chocholate after lunch. Was that a mistake! I felt a deficit of energy for the rest of the day.

Source: WikipediaRemember the post about technology today? In that same hotel, we are now accustomed to simply reset the wireless each time we pass by it, and yesterday an interesting point arose from that.

If there’s anything Microsoft should patent in this world is the concept of reboot. It just works, it applies to any contemporary technological gadget, and in was in fact popularized by them.

We are sharing offices with a completely different company. I guess that when they started, they were just like us, young and wild and bleeding edge.
They got older together and have now switched lifestyles accordingly, including going from bleeding to ‘only’ cutting edge.
They don’t fool around the office, when on the other hand, we regularly play basketball with soft balls, eat loads of cakes and cookies, and chat constantly. They get together every morning for a chat and then go for another productive day.
It is interesting, that we drink far less coffee than them. Actually, majority of our office proffers tea, and we have very nice collection of quality leaves in the kitchen. New age generation I guess…
By looking at them, one can learn a lot about experiences, that we are yet to meet and I’m happy we have such neighbors.
